    This publication commemorated fifteen years of the Foundation's clinician scholar program, which promotes a track for clinician educators within rheumatology.

    This publication explores outcomes from an NIH-funded study I oversaw during my time at UAB, as they relate to a behavioral economic index, and continues research along a natural resolution theme established by the PI Jalie Tucker.

    This publication resulted from data collection and analyses I completed in my first research position at UAB, as part of an American Heart Association grant.

  • I led the National Scleroderma Foundation through creation of a strategic framework meant to serve the organization in an ever-changing world and provide flexibility in scope and scale, while providing a clear vision for the future. 
  • Strategic plan (2016-2020)
  • I led the Foundation through its first ever five year strategic planning exercise, in partnership with a strategic planning consultant firm and our volunteer leadership. the resulting report is a five-year roadmap that was instrumental in guiding our work and rebuilding the organization in preparation for a period of transformational growth. 
  • Long-range plan (2015-2025)
  • I led our board through its first ever long-range planning exercise in preparation for strategic planning to help set a broad framework and establish long-term goals and incorporate stakeholder feedback. 
  • NIH funding report (2014)
  • Based on an initial summary I created following the 2012 Blue Ribbon panel on Academic Rheumatology, I co-authored a follow-up report detailing NIH funding for rheumatology research and training.

  • In partnership with volunteer leadership, I led an expert panel through an analysis of the status of academic rheumatology in the US, and co-authored the final report, which was presented to the Board of Directors in the fall of 2012.

  •  I created this module (worth 1 CAE hour) with other colleagues who were Forty Under 40 Honorees, specifically for Forty Under 40 honorees for part of the 2019 educational session entitled “Interrupt to Innovate.”  
  • Georgia Society of Association Executives Annual 2019 Annual Meeting in Greenville, South Carolina. Everyday Ethics for CEOs, May 2019
  • I created this module  (worth 1 CAE hour) for nonprofit executives to help meet the new CAE continuing education criteria that requires education in ethics for credentialing and renewal at the 2019 Georgia Society of Association Executives Annual Meeting 
  • American Society of Association Executives Annual 2011 Meeting in St. Louis, Missouri. Meaningful Mentorship: The Pyramid Model, August 2011.  Pp. 218-248
    I created this model with my mentor based on our personal mentorship experiences and presented it in a formal session (worth 2 CAE hours) at the 2011 American Society of Association Executives Annual Meeting.

    I was the presenting author on this poster, presented at the 2008 APA conference, describing work I completed as part of an NIH-funded study on problem drinking at UAB
